Project Manager/Architect
6-12 years experience
We’re looking for a high energy, experienced Project Manager/Architect to manage multi-faceted retail design programs for well-known clients in the financial and food service industries. Help us deliver projects that meet a broad range of customer needs in a variety of consumer environments. Experience an award-winning, progressive, and energized workplace. Qualifications
• Professional degree in architecture
• Architecture licensure and LEED AP accreditation preferred
• Proficiency with Revit, Adode Creative Cloud applications, and Microsoft Office
• 6-12 years of relevant experience, including recent experience with retail projects
• Experience leading CD and CA phases of interior and architectural projects

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Skills
• Advanced technical problem solving capabilities regarding building construction and technologies
• Manage internal project coordination and communication for multiple fast paced projects at a given time
• Lead preparation of design development, construction document and LEED documentation packages with project team, consultants, contractors, and vendors
• Lead in-house production teams in the preparation of existing conditions site surveys and full entitlements, code, and accessibility reviews
• Perform construction phase services and project close-out
• Regional travel is required 


Designer/Senior Job Captain
5+ years experience
We’re looking for a high energy, tech-savvy architectural designer who can get stuff done. The successful candidate is motivated by the challenge of delivering great client work for fast paced, technical projects. Bergmeyer is searching for a creative and resourceful Designer/Senior Job Captain with a positive, collaborative work style and innate organizational skills to help us deliver projects that meet a broad range of human needs and experiences. • On the path to licensure
• LEED AP status is preferred
• Substantial Revit experience required

• Minimum of 5 years of recent design experience in retail, financial, hospitality, or restaurant-based projects

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Skills
• Participation in the full design process from conceptual design through construction administration as a member of a project team working on interior architecture projects
• Ability to independently conduct site surveys and full code and accessibility reviews
• Ability to graphically communicate an idea quickly and effectively, backed by strong technical capabilities regarding building construction and technologies
• Preparation of design development and construction document packages with project team, consultants, contractors, and vendors
• Performing construction phase services and punchlists
• Coordinating LEED documentation with in-house Director of Sustainability
• Experience with fast-paced, technical projects
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work closely with clients 


Designer/Job Captain
1-5 years experience
We’re looking for resourceful and detail oriented Designers/Job Captains to work on retail projects. The successful candidate is motivated by the challenge of delivering great client work for fast-paced, technical projects in retail, food service, academia, workplace or hospitality. Make a positive impact and experience an award-winning, progressive, energized workplace. A sign-on bonus will be awarded to successful candidates if you apply by October 31, 2014.

Qualifications
• Professional degree in Architecture or Interior Architecture
• On the path to Licensure or NCIDQ Certification. LEED AP status a plus.
• Proficiency with Revit, Adobe Creative Cloud applications, and Microsoft Office a must
• Strong organizational skills.
• Experience with fast paced, technical projects.
• Accepting applications at all levels with a minimum of one year of design office experience (including co-ops).
• Advanced construction documentation skills are a plus.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Skills
• Participation in the full design process from conceptual design through Construction Administration as a member of a project team
• Ability to graphically communicate an idea quickly and effectively.
• Technical capabilities regarding building construction and technologies.
• Ability to conduct site surveys and full code and accessibility reviews. Solid experience with existing conditions is necessary.
• Prepare design development and construction document packages with project team, consultants, contractors, and vendors
• Perform construction phase services
• Coordinate LEED documentation with our in-house Sustainability Manager
