Designer/ Project Manager

8+ years experience

We are searching for a creative and resourceful Designer/ Project Manager with a positive, collaborative work style to work on projects for several of our national clients.

Qualifications:

  • Professional degree in Architecture
  • On track for Licensure and LEED AP status preferred
  • Revit experience in a Professional Setting required
  • Proficiency in Revit, Sketch-Up and Adobe Creative Suite preferred
  • Minimum of 8 years of recent experience in all phases of project

Essential Skills and Responsibilities:

  • Strong design and technical expertise
  • Ability to graphically communicate an idea quickly and effectively, backed by strong technical capabilities regarding building construction and technologies, detailing and consultant coordination.
  • Participation in the full design process from due diligence to conceptual design and approvals through Construction Administration as a member of a project team working on architecture-based projects.
  • Prior experience with architectural design and detailing for ground up and renovation projects is required
  • Prior experience with fast paced, technical projects
  • Prior experience managing multiple projects and supervision of junior staff
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work closely with clients
  • Solid understanding of building, energy and accessibility codes in jurisdictions nationally
  • Ability to prepare design development and construction document packages with project team, consultants, contractors, and vendors
  • Prior experience coordinating work of consultants
  • Prior experience with Construction Administration and knowledge of construction methods
  • Coordinate LEED documentation with our in-house Sustainability Coordinator

We are searching for a creative and resourceful Senior Brand and Environmental Graphic Designer with a positive, collaborative work style to work on branding and graphic design projects in support of diverse markets such as retail, restaurant, hospitality, workplace, academic and commercial as well as firm-wide marketing efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Professional degree in Graphic Design
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
  • Minimum of 8 years of recent design office experience in brand strategy and environmental graphic design, including wayfinding and signage
  • Experience in all phases of design from strategy and design to coordination of fabrication and installation

Essential Skills and Responsibilities:

  • Ability to graphically communicate an idea quickly and effectively
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work closely with clients
  • Dynamic speaker and collaborator with the ability to lead a client through strategy and design intent presentations
  • Create and maintain strong strategic relationships and develop new business opportunities
  • Adept at creating conceptual design foundations through the execution of technical documentation and artwork for print or digital applications
  • Working knowledge of digital video editing or other skills related to creating dynamic content a plus
  • Experience with packaging design a plus

  • Adept with client interaction with experience in serving as a primary contact
  • Participation in the full design process from conceptual design through Construction Administration as the leader of a project team
  • Development of space plans, pricing plans, FF&E selection, and specifications of products and materials
  • Prepare design development and construction document packages with project team, consultants, contractors, and vendors
  • Perform construction phase services
