What motivated you to become an architect?

My love of creating beautiful spaces and places for people to enjoy.

What does successful workplace culture mean to you?

To me, a successful workplace culture is one where employees feel supported, inspired, and trusted. Where everyone is respected and interacts respectfully. I believe that people produce their best work when they are relaxed and feel “allowed” to be themselves.

If you had to pick one word that best represents Bergmeyer's culture, what would it be, and why?

FUN! Everyone at Bergmeyer is passionate and hardworking because we love what we do. Bergmeyer is great at fueling and celebrating this creative and playful spirit. Having a positive work environment fosters engagement and collaboration which drives the innovation that can be seen in our work!

What do you listen to while working?

Podcasts. Current favorites include The Daily and The Moth.

What is your most unshakable vice?

Ice cream. Mint chocolate chip to be exact.

What valuable lesson did you learn from your parents?

Tomorrow is a new day with no mistakes in it yet. Yes, that is a quote from Anne of Green Gables. My Dad would read it to me when I was young.

Introverted Extrovert.

Dogs or cats?

Cats and dogs… and bunnies.

Beer or wine?

Pinot Noir

What inspires you?

Books, movies, traveling, art, music, people…the list goes on.
