What motivated you to become a designer (or current role?)?
At first, it was Skateboarding (Teenage years), I wanted to do artwork for skate decks and design a website for my skateboarding crew, then I got more and more into music and became fascinated with albums artwork. It wasn't until one day during art class in high school when I found out that as a graphic designer you could do all that and more.
What would you be doing if you were not working in this industry?
Either music or Photography for sure.
Do you have a talent (outside of being your talented self at Bergmeyer) that you are proud of?
I make music and do photography. I'm also working on a photography book called Alien Food, which focuses on packaged food and pantry items found on immigrant households. Most of my work is on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/javi... and my website: https://javierfuentes.studio/
Where do you go for a weekend getaway?
Currently: North Adams Mass
If you had millions to donate, which cause would you choose to share it with?
Ending homelessness.
What’s your biggest ambition?
To have a small studio that produces many art forms, all under one roof. Total creative freedom.
