What are your go-to sources for creative inspiration?

Mexican culture never fails to inspire. It's filled with so much beautiful color and expression, not to mention talented architects and designers. The talavera tile alone is a hallmark of my inspo boards.

What's a skill/hobby/interest that you've picked up?

Homemade salsas. Sweet, spicy, tangy; there's so much range of flavors to explore. My current favorite is a roasted mango habanero, non-spicy eaters BEWARE.

What is one of your favorite quotes?

“Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain.” It's all about perspective and I'll always choose to see the optimism!

How do you unwind?

I like to go for walks. Bonus is conversing with neighbors and building a sense of community. My husky/golden retriever mix Shiloh makes it easy, he's a real neighborhood celebrity.

If you had one superpower, what would it be?

Agrokinesis: the ability to manipulate and generate plant life of all forms. Move over green lantern, the Green Thumb has arrived and is ready to single-handedly save the Amazon rainforest!
