What motivated you to become a designer (or current role?)?

I majored in studio art and political science in college. I chose to merge the artistic side of me with the more practical side and went to grad school for Interior Design.

When you are retired and look back on your life, what is the biggest accomplishment you hope to achieve?

I want to look back and know I had a fulfilling life. A life that was happy and filled with family and friends (and dogs). Professional accolades aren’t as important as the relationships you make along the way.

If you had to pick one word that best represents Bergmeyer's culture, what would it be, and why?

Family. I believe everyone genuinely cares about one another, their wellbeing and their success.

Do you have a talent (outside of being your talented self at Bergmeyer) that you are proud of?

I really enjoy cooking and I dabbling in baking (savory baking such as breads, bagels and pretzels). Pastas, pizza and seafood are my specialty!

What valuable lesson did you learn from your parents?

Life is short. The goal is to end up with $0 in the bank account.

What’s the most important part of your morning routine?

A walk with my dog, Theo.

What was your first job?

A counselor at the Nomar Garciaparra and Mo Vaughn Baseball Camp. I worked there strictly to have my picture taken with Nomahhhh.

What was your best Halloween costume?

A banana. Who doesn’t find a banana funny?

What’s your ideal superpower?

Invisibility

Dogs or cats?

Please see picture above.

What do you do when you're at a dinner party and the conversation gets awkward?

Top off my glass of wine.
