Turkey (for the food)

Morocco (for the architecture and the food)

Cuba (for the history … and the food)

No shade on dogs, but cats are the best! They’re independent, feisty, and loving (sometimes).

In a parallel universe, what is your profession?

I’d either be a therapist or the owner of a taco cart.

What were your first seven jobs?

I babysat for neighborhood kids when I was in high school (it was the worst). Then I was as a receptionist for a campground. Next, I milked cows for a few summers (yes, really). Then I was a mini-mart cashier for a summer or two. In college, I worked at City Sports (RIP). I also had a work study job cleaning the equipment at the gym at Northeastern. Then I was a medical transcriber at an allergy & asthma center. I’ve had quite the journey, but I’ve learned something from each experience.

If you had to use one word to describe yourself, what would it be?

Complex.

What do you listen to while working?

Anything from Beethoven to Beyonce.
