Joshua Smith, Chef Owner at Moody’s Delicatessen & Provisions, is widely recognized as a leader in the restaurant industry across the US having honed his skills at the likes of Dean & Deluca, The Four Seasons, and Tico. He founded New England Charcuterie with the intention of making artisanal meats right here in New England, which has now expanded to include a full-service restaurant, The Backroom, the hottest new spot in the suburbs.
Brian Sciera, Vice President at WS Development, has been with WS Development for over 15 years in various roles of development, management and leasing of some of their premiere properties around Greater Boston, including Derby Street Shops in Hingham, Legacy Place in Dedham and MarketStreet in Lynnfield. Brian has also been working on the SEAPORT District in the same capacity since 2007, where WS Development will be involved in the development of 20 City Blocks.
Andrea DeSimone, Vice President at CBRE, is focused on retail and restaurant deal-making in the Boston urban market. Since joining CBRE/New England Retail, formerly CBRE/Grossman Retail Advisors, in 2010, Andrea has negotiated leases on behalf of many of the city’s premier landlords in high profile locations from Newbury Street to the Waterfront Seaport area. On the retailer side, Andrea enjoys working with a very select group of retailers and restaurants on their expansions plans. Committed to restaurant deal-making, Andrea is the leader of the CBRE Restaurant Practice Group and heads the global team.
