What’s the difference between art and design?

There are probably a lot of valid answers to this, but I think of design as art in service of specific solutions.

What’s the most important part of your morning routine?

My commute time. I need a lot of thinking time. My morning walk to the office is perfect. I am one of those weird people that doesn't ever have headphones in walking around.

What is a work-related book you'd recommend?

The Lean Startup by Eric Ries. You will probably learn how nearly every business operation is a startup in some way. The approach outlined here is simple and it will transform the way you go about your job. Even if you are not cool enough to work in Silicon Valley.

What's your favorite season?

Fall. It’s why I’m not likely to ever leave the East Coast.
