Good design
shapes culture.
Good business
drives change.

As a Certified B Corp, we are committed to practicing both to create positive impact. Every decision we make, from who we hire to how we operate and measure impact, reflects our commitment to people, communities, and the world we help shape.

Transparency.
Equity.
Accountability.
Sustainability.

These are the non-negotiables that guide how we show up — for our people, our clients, our communities, and the planet we all share.

A natural fit

Bergmeyer chose to become a Certified B Corp in 2024 because we understand the value of rigorous, third-party scrutiny of our social and environmental objectives.

We know that B Corp certification is a starting point, not an end in and of itself, and we are dedicated to a long-term program of continuous improvement in our business activities across 7 well-defined impact areas:

All B Corps, no matter what size or sector or location in the world, are held to the same high standards of transparency and fairness. All B Corps are motivated by the same desires to balance our values with our business activities, to create positive impacts in the world, and to build a resilient community of thriving, purpose-driven companies. Bergmeyer has long been committed to consistently growing our equity, inclusivity, sustainability, and civic engagement impacts — so the B Corp framework is a natural fit for us.

Our Pro Bono Program

Bergmeyer provides project-based support each year to nonprofit organizations htough our pro-bono program.  Our mission is to undertake and complete projects that will benefit the local community and align with Bergmeyer’s commitments as a Public Benefit and Certified B Corporation.

Over the course of its history, Bergmeyer has completed these projects ranging from market research and planning, historical research, redevelopment feasibility studies, architectural planning and design projects, signage and exhibit design, branding and website design, as well as sustainability planning.

In 2025, Best Spaces CEO Victoria Lanteigne began working with Bergmeyer to re-envision the organization's name, and look and feel. Together over several months, we developed a thoughtful new brand to bring to life a building certification based on experience-driven design outcomes for global audience.
