In Boston’s Back Bay, a former bank at 500 Boylston Street has been reimagined as something entirely new. Cactus Club Café makes its American debut with an 11,000 square foot flagship that introduces the brand to the US market while feeling instantly at home in New England. Known for its polished take on premium casual dining, the Boston location honors the brand’s DNA while confidently setting a new design tone for its expansion south of the border.
Working in close collaboration with JBI, the design brings warmth, refinement, and energy to a highly visible corner of Boylston Street. The restaurant unfolds as a vibrant social destination, anchored by a four season patio enclosure that activates the street and draws people into a welcoming public courtyard. With seating for approximately 325 guests, the space contributes meaningfully to the ongoing revival of Back Bay’s dining scene.
Inside, the atmosphere balances sophistication and approachability. Bronze accents complement the base building while warm walnut millwork, black stone, neutral fabrics, botanical moments, and stone look tile create a layered and inviting interior. Custom hand crafted bocce lighting and chandeliers add a sense of craft and personality, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to elevated everyday dining.
Cactus Club Café Boston is the result of a strong partnership and a shared vision for what the brand’s first US location could be. Timeless yet social, stylish yet grounded in place, it represents a confident new chapter for Cactus Club Café and a welcome addition to the city’s culinary landscape.
