Flywheel
Bergmeyer brought Flywheel's distinctive attitude to life in Denver through a dimensional stadium wall that shapes the entire studio experience, from check-in to the final climb.

Spin studios aren't exactly known for subtlety, and Flywheel has never wanted to be. So, when the boutique fitness brand set out to open its Denver studio, they needed a partner that could create a space with the same fearless attitude as the rides themselves.
Flywheel chose Bergmeyer for our brand strategy, experiential design expertise, and our full-service approach. Our team led the concept design for this roughly 5,000-square-foot, single-floor studio, which was created to be a catalyst for future locations. It had to feel distinctive from the moment a rider walks in, and it had to work as a prototype the brand could grow from.
At the heart of the studio is a dimensional cycling stadium wall that shapes the whole experience. It streamlines check-in, with self check-in and a concierge greeting each rider, and it sets the stage for a stadium-style studio where riders cycle in the round on multiple levels. Sequenced lighting adds to the energy, and digital touchpoints are integrated throughout. We also made sure the studio's competition board works for every rider in the room, wherever they're sitting.
The site was demanding. The studio sits within a mixed-use development, so sound mitigation was critical, and we worked closely with an acoustician to keep the intensity inside the studio and away from its neighbors. We also collaborated with engineering teams on the HVAC demands that come with fitness spaces.
The result is a studio that shows what happens when a brand is ready to stand out, and that has the energy to carry Flywheel's attitude into the studios that follow.
